I understand that my friends and family are just looking out for me, but they don't know everything.  Sorry 엄마, but I'm not going to force him to go to church.  I don't want his intentions of going to church to be for me, rather than for God.  Besides, attending church doesn't make him any more of a Christian.  In the same way, not attending church doesn't make him less of one either.  And to my friends, who are you to judge someone you don't know as well as I do?  In fact, who are you to judge at all?  So what if he doesn't have the cleanest past.  He is no less of a sinner than all of us are.

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

"Love keeps no record of wrongs."

This is my decision.  If it's a mistake, then let me make it on my own.  Or it may end up not being a mistake at all, we'll never know.  Yeah, I may not know what the future holds, I don't know if this will work out in the end, but I do know that God is faithful.  He won't lead me down any path that isn't ultimately for His glory, or for my good.

  2. That being said, I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes we just have to learn it the hard way because if we avoid the mistake at others' suggestion, we may not learn anything. I don't know what this person is like or what kind of a situation you are in, and I'm not saying that you will learn a hard lesson, of course. Just take caution ;)
