The resilience of mankind scares me.
Whether someone goes away on vacation for a few months, or someone moves to the other side of the country for good, or someone suddenly passes away... we move on. Yes, we'll remember. At times we will forget. Either way, we will still move on. Always. Inevitably.
Would I consider this a blessing or a curse?
Eh. Depends on the situation, I guess...
I don't know why, but it just makes me uneasy :/
i know what you mean. the way i see it, if i was dead and saw everyone mourning, i'd feel worse. i would want my friends & family to enjoy life and a little recognition to me every now and then would be nice to see. just to make sure they didn't forget.
