Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?

I know this isn't good... and yet I continue.  My friends tell me not to do anything, and I intentionally don't listen to them.  Against the advice of others who unanimously agree that it's not in my best interest, I am starting to get myself into this (possible) mess.  And the thing is, I know it's not gonna end up well.  I may end up hurting myself and others along the way.

So why?
