pressing on

Going to all these before-we-leave-for-college hang outs and dinners and whatnot... they really got me thinking.........

I'm going to college!!!

What I mean is... this is a whole new chapter in my life! Key word-- NEW! Who cares about what I've done in the past, or who I've hurt, or what I've said?! None of it matters! The only thing that really matters to me now is that I do what God's will is. Even though, I admit, I'm not one hundred percent sure what His will for me is, I'm just going to move on. Forget the past (which I can't do anything about anyway) and move on towards the future. Yeah, sure, I have no idea what my future holds, and I have no idea what I want to do with my life. But if I'm moving towards God, I'm still moving ahead, right?



"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
