first entry as an official college student

I love college.

I love the campus. I thought I wouldn't like it as much as UGA's campus, especially with everything being uphill. But I find myself walking to all my classes more often than riding the bus (I've actually only rode it twice since school started). I just can't wait until fall when it cools down

I love the people here! Everyone (with the exception of the occasional socially awkward person here and there) is so open and friendly! Even though most of my conversations usually consist of pretty much the same things, it's still so fun talking to different people, finding out where they're from, learning more about their backgrounds, and all that other stuff! Not only is it great meeting all the new people here, but it's also awesome just having so many 오빠s and 언니s around! They come and visit me all the time and take care of me so much I feel like their lil sisterrrr!! It's great!!

I love how I'm starting to discover who I am. It's a scary, yet amazing feeling. I'm becoming more independent, and that itself scares me a lot. I was always the baby of the family-- the only girl AND the youngest. But I can even FEEL myself growing mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It's crazy.

I love how long the days seem here. I feel as though the first day of school was already weeks ago. I love how there are so many places here to do whatever you want. There are so many places where I can just sit there and do my own thing (like right now-- I'm currently waiting for my next class to start in about 15 minutes so I'm just sitting in this random room). But I also love how people would come up to you and just strike up a conversation.

I love how people don't discriminate here. I know I've had various experiences of racism back in high school. Maybe it's because there are just SO many Asian people here. Or maybe it's simply because people just grew up.

Yeah. Simply put, I love college (so far).
